I need a measurement
I need measurements from the ground to the highest point on the frontwheel opening on trucks that have been dropped 3.5" in the front and are running 28" tires. I did a 3.5"/4" drop on my truck just over two months ago. I don't think the back actually came down 4" (the stock springs must have been sagging) and the front looks like it came down more than just 3.5". The tires in the before and after pics are the same height (28") if I remember my measurement right from October when I ordered the parts a 5" from drop should have put the top of the wheel opening right on top of the tire but with the 2.5" drop spindle and the 1" drop spring installed the top of the wheel opening is actually about 1" below the top of the tire and now I'm having rubbing issues when I hit potholes or bumps (the tires are 235/70R15). I'm just wondering how much drop I actually ended up with.

That thing looks good closer to the ground...
 I haven't gotten to the drop kit on my truck yet so I can't help with the drop question. Is it a BB truck? It could be just the height of the tire causing issues.

Thanks for the compliments, I like it a lot better the way it is now but I think it either needs to come down a couple more inches in the back or I need to put taller tires on the back. I'm not sure my truck can really even qualify as a SB, it's just a 305. I guess I don't really need a measurement from a truck that has the same drop/tire height, I would just need to know if it has been dropped and how much and what height tire it has and I could calculate the difference. Even just a measurement from the center of the spindle to the wheel opening and amount of drop would work.

can't help you either. I know the stock heights I had on my step before dropping was 34" in the rear and 32" in the front. apparently, those numbers are good because LMC has them listed in their catalog.

Here is a 3.5/4 drop on my 68. I'm running 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear tires. I'll try to get a measurement later.
