My windows roll up and down slowly. Is this due to motors about to go out or is there a fix i can do withought replacing anything?

Re: window question on 86 c10
daman: only two things slow a window down. 1, something binding or 2, a motor on the way out. I am assuming your battery\charging system is ok. Easiest way to check which one it is is to take the trim panel off and lube everything in sight. Lube the window runs with silicone spray and the rest with grease. If that fixes it great, if not replaceing the window motors is your only option. jim

Re: window question on 86 c10
when you lube the tracks make sure none of the felt or anything else is bound up in the tracks too
