Hi Tim,
Perfect pictures. You can see that all 3 holes are tapped, so you can use either the 153 (inline) or 168 (angled) ring gear. It also clearly shows that your existing starter mounted to the bellhousing (same setup as I have). So, now you need a ring gear with the correct pattern for the torque convertor and for the crank flange (pre 86 SB). Also, don't forget to find a pair of the correct starter bolts, because you probably don't have these right now (different than bellhousing mount bolts). And, it seems there are a couple of different lengths in these bolts too (my 64 uses shorter bolts than my 77). Keep on pluggin... ![]()
