I'm gutting the interior of my truck while i'm waitinf for my new seats and i'm stuck on how to get the upper part of the seat belt off. Any one know how to remove the piece mounting up high in the cab?

Re: removing seat belts?

If im not mistaken its a torx wrench type of head on the bolt that holds it in the plastic pops off to expose the bolt with a screwdriver.. and a torx socket makes quick work of the bolt

mine is just a big bolt...looks like a 21mm or so and it doesn't seem like it wants to loosen.

Re: removing seat belts?

They are usually installed with some sort of thread locker.
You need a breaker bar.
