Help me decide...Time or money?

Decided to go with a 67 GMC front clip on my 72 K20 project. I'm getting close to paint on my project, and need to score a front clip pretty soon.

So the question is, am I better off holding out for a decent used GM front clip or combination of hood/fenders, and spend the time to prep, fix rust and clean up, or is it worth the money to buy new repros, taking the chance with fitment and lesser gauge metal? New hoods alone are going for $400+
Any preference on vendors? I saw one vendor advertising fenders with new tooling?

Re: Help me decide...Time or money?

If you can find a used front clip for cheap, I'd go for it. In VA, expect to patch the core support beneath the battery, and replace the passenger side inner fender, possibly driver side. This is the cheaper route.

If you have the spendola, I would definitely look into getting repop front fenders, inner fenders and a repop core support, then reuse everything else.
