Dont know if this is the right forum, but ?
I have seen pics of a diesel tank from a 2008 gmc that kinda looks like an old blazer tank from the top. The guy told me it was 27.5 inches wide 13 something tall. He told me it mounts between the frame rails. What am wondering is the intank assemblies the same between the gas and diesel tanks? If not, do you think you could get an in tank assembly out of a regular gas truck and put in it? I think if you could it would be a good tank for those of us thinking about doing an efi swap. I try and post a picture of it that the guy sent me.

I would think the tanks are the same and only vary from body to body. That`s how the earlier model stuff is.Those parts are interchangeable if not the same.
