blazer/jimmy weight
I need to know how much a stock 4x4 bla/jim weighs. Anyone's rig would be helpful, just list the extra/heavier stuff you've put on it. This is my first post, but I've been a reader since the "orange" days.

As an aside note. I weighed my 72 2wd Jimmy on a certified scale before the teardown. It came in at 4135lb with top on. That was with air, 350/T400.
Can a dana44 and a transfer case really weigh 1000lbs? whew... |

No, but I have bigger rims and tires, plus a fullsize spare, an extra driveshaft, a roll bar and a grill gaurd, skid plates, dual batteries.a 2 1/2 ton floor jack, and a .50 cal ammo box full of tools. recovery gear, plus a full tank of gas.
