is anyone running the ididit colum in their truck.and is it hard to install?

There are a lot of threads to be found using the Search feature about Ididit columns. I did the research last year before purchasing my flaming river column. Searching for either Flaming river or ididit should net you some superb results.

ididit is great, easy to install.

I have an Ididit comlumn in mine. I can't tell you how easy it was to install, because my painter put it in. It looks like it installs just like the original though, which I remember was pretty simple and straightforward.

Its a direct fit to the stock column here's my tilt column Only took about an hour to install.

What are the benefits of an ididit column vs. a stock tilt column? Especially if it is a paintable ididit column?

It's NEW. My old column neede rebuilt bad. It squeaked and made other wierd noises I didn't like. It doesn't bother some people, but it did me. I actually would've used it though if I hadn't cut the tabs off to make it work with my floor shift.
Basically it's just a trade off for new vs. 40 yr. old parts.
