Cool OEM Find

I found this on the back of the original carpet of a truck that was parted out last weekend. Truck was a 70,xxx mile original highlander truck- had air, PB, PS and tilt- cab went to Penn. frame and motor to Fla. and the Bed to NC .
Truck was too good to part but the owner would not sell whole. Anyway how many of these do you see everyday?

Re: Cool OEM Find

My`71 CustomCamper/20 had one, too.Purdy dang kewl.Mine had a 1970 date.It must have been an early`71 because it had CustomSportTruck listed on the SPID.The CustomCamper/20 nameplate was optioned. So,even though it was a Cheyenne,it had no such markings.

Re: Cool OEM Find

I did have a picture around here of my 72 black carpet sticker on my 4x4 shortbox. I found that sticker glued to the backside of the carpet edge in front of the drivers seating while taking the bolts out of my seat to get at the build sheet for pictures that were behind the seat springs.
