Speedometer

Has anyone seen any speedometers for the 60-63/64-66 pickups. My '63 needs a new speedometer but no one reproduces the 60-66 guages for some reason. All I ever see are the digital guages. I believe Jim Carter will rebuild your speedo but it's around $130 I think.

Thanks man. I've never heard of them before though, are they reliable?

Re: Speedometer

I see used gauge clusters all the time at swap meets. They're usually not very expensive either.

Re: Speedometer

I just noticed you're in Georgia. You can call Chuck Williams at C. W. Classics in Conyers, 770-785-9259. I bought a nice used 64-66 gauge cluster from him a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure he would have what you need.

Re: Speedometer

Bowtie Bits will do a very good job rebuilding your speedo. Jeff can seem grumpy on the phone, especially if he's busy. But he does excellent work, gives great service, and won't blow smoke.
