is it a short wheelbase? maybe the cut andused the rear half of the original truck and added the front of a 4x4 frame.it's hardto tell whatmay havebeen done over the past 40 years. got any pics? it sure wouldnt hurt to fish plate the inside of the frame drill your plate and plug weld it too.youcould boxit too if you want

Its a long bed and ill try to get pictures on here as soon as possible .. thanks for the help
