1972 350 Eng, Th350 Question

I Just Bought A 72 Used 35o Engine With A Th350 For $300 But I Want To Replace The Carb, What Would Be Your Best Recomendation? I Want To Keep It Stock.

There's another thread running on this right now,look around. My suggestion is a Q-jet. Stock mani is good for stock performance level. If you need or want,the Q-jets are pretty easy to "rebuild" IMO. Helps to have compressed air for blowing out the passages,and a big can of carb cleaner for soaking parts in.
Check the main jet size.My '69 350 came with .067 jets and runs great,maybe a little lean.

stock wouold be the quadra jet... if you chainge it, to another make/model... it won't be stock.
