I have recently decided to go down memory lane by buying a 1970 CST/10. My dad owned a new 69 C/10 and I wanted one similar. I bought it online from California and drove it back 2000 miles to Louisiana. It is fairly solid and mostly original. I plan to use this truck so it will be not be a show truck, but this does not mean that she will not go to the Beauty parlor for a makeover. I am excited to own this truck and look forward to the community and support of other owners. Attached are some photos which the previous owner took. I will add my own as time goes own.

Thanks,
Teepall.

Re: New Member

The truck is 350/turbo350, 3:73 gears, power steering and brakes, cargo light, standard dash cluster. The last owner installed disc brakes and the 350 from a '71 Monte Carlo donor car. The build code indicates it to be a V8 truck but it was probably a 307 originally. Note the lack of engine badge. It has only been touched up as far as paint goes and its chrome trim has the "customary" screws where the clips have failed. I would like to eventually equip it the way that I would have ordered it new. It is pretty much a basic CST. Driving puts a smile on my face even with the gas prices.

Thanks for asking.

Teepall.

Welcome from Central California - glad to have you here - GO SAINTS! (I am a diehard New Orleans Saints fan!). BTW, very nice truck, good buy from California, the winters are pretty kind to these old girls here.
