Control arm help needed- today

Do I need to cut the stock bump stop brackets off of my control arms if I'm running bags? It looks like it might get in the way. control arms are '73+. If so, What are you guys using?

I took mine off too. If I remember right, they are darn close to the bag. Also, they are HUGE.
