My buddy got his '69 camaro in and I'm part of his pit crew. Headed down there tomorrow from Austin. There are 400 cars and he's in the 11's so it's unlikely that he'll make it into the top 16 or whatever but it should be fun to watch. Pics to follow! This is the car he's running however it's got a ford 9" mini tub now.

there's a guy from my town going also... he has a 69 chevelle with a brand new 598 with spray... he'll be in the 9's... unless he detunes for the 10.50's or so... he's there now. black 69 chevelle, Mike Lamberson.

I saw one yesterday that they chose the 10 or 11 second cars and ran them heads up. They chose them because they knew the really fast cars were detuned. They wanted the cars that were in it to be running all out. So who knows, maybe he will make it.
