Rare '67 Panel

No connection to seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...em290212346743

Notice it's a 'Custom'. Most all the panels I have seen are strippo's. No comment on the price!

Re: Rare '67 Panel

That would be awesome if it could be bonified.I`m not sure it wasn`t "made" into a "Custom" at some point. It doesn`t have any Custom interior pieces like horn cap or door panels.I`m not sure if Panels were offered with trim options or if it`s just so rare we never see them.

I looked at a`67 CST Panel. It had it all. But,it had 5-lug disc brakes, too.Someone had done a tasteful custom, but not original.
I have a funeral parlor near me with a`68 Panel that appears to be a Custom model, too.I want to talk to the owner, but haven`t had a chance. Here`s a blurry shot of it.

Re: Rare '67 Panel

Wow.I can't see it being a custom. As special said nto even basic stuff is there for it to be.I would more suspect it to have the badge to cover up existing holes in the fender or maybe a used replacement fender. The wheelwells and lower portion look to be made of "brown gold" and primered over.I just don't "think" any Panels were optioned more than just as work trucks.

Re: Rare '67 Panel

I know exactly where its at!! I have tried buying that truck for about 2 years now. He always said I am going to restore it one day. He wants to much for it. It really needs alot of work. They are not really showing the rust damage everywhere else.
