Good adhesive for window track?

Well, my window has dismounted from the track again. I pushed my luck the other night when it had ice on it, cranked too hard, and popped it off.

I've tried several adhesives in the past, what would be the strongest? A combination of stuff?

Re: Good adhesive for window track?

we use urathane at work...its for glass...its messy as he77 but seems to work..well...i think at one time we used 3m Super Black weather strip adheisive <spell...both should be left to cure over night Imo...Also there are some 2 part epoxy stuff that is very good..but most of them require a special applicator gun....Hope some of this may help you.....Tony

3M!! Part or product # 8101 structural adhesive. It's a 2 part kit. You'll use almost the whole thing. One word of warning, GET EVERYTHING SUPER CLEAN FIRST!! Oh another thing, get it right the first time, you'll never get it off. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.
