Wasn't going to ask but.....

Does your gas tank make noise? my tank is behind the seat and with a 1/2 to full tank of gas when I turn a corner the fuel moves from side to side (as it should) but as it does the tank flexes and makes a loud sound it's hard to describe the sound but if you have ever held a thin piece of sheet metal between both hands and shook it in and out...that's the sound. Scares the crap out of my passengers they think the beds falling off or something. Maybe i've got a thinner metal after market replacement tank?.

Re: Wasn't going to ask but.....

I hear a lot of clanging at 1/2 tank... that's the float smacking the front and rear wall of the tank. But I have never heard the sheet metal flexing. You may well have an aftermarket thin wall tank.

Thanks guys.
