Re: Will 85 Suburban tank fit on 69 long bed
I believe it will fit just fine. Probably better than a swb. I've got a lead on this same tank that I plan to use in my 69 swb frame.

Re: Will 85 Suburban tank fit on 69 long bed
My father pulled one out of a jumk suburban last weekend and is brining it to me in two weeks from amarillo. When i talk to him last night he said it measured 28'' square and 11 tall, but wasn't real sure if that was with the 1 or 2 inch flat stamp around the edge. My inner frame rails are 26' and change . Might have to notch the front frame rail, but still unsure.
I'm hoping someone else has already done one or tryed one. I would hate for him to come all the way to austin for nothing. When are you planning on trying the relocation?? |
