I'm gonna steal that Monster someday . Just submitted a bid at $57,000, but only needed $23K to be the high bidder. Somebody should kick it up another $30K or so.

Story on GM (green monster) is that it belongs to somebody else and a scammer puts the truck on ebay or Craigs List and then the auction closes...

Then... the bidders are asked to submit money to buy the truck for WAY less than the truck is worth and the scammer walks off with the money since it is outside of ebay...

short story - this has happened many times before - don't bid in an attempt to win it - it isn't really for sale from the real owner.

He emailed me today - his address (for this weeks scam) is drklwsn@aol.com. Perhaps we can report him for fraudulent use of an AOL email account.

Here's what's really funny....when I was looking for my truck, I checked in on a couple of K5's that this joker must have been scamming, not knowing they were scams yet. He's still using the exact same verbiage in his email replies! I'll have to see if I can dig one up.
