Got some new shoes, boy do I feel tall!

I went out to the truck last weekend to find the first pic. Flat as a pancake front tire....I hoped it was just a slow leak that had had the whole winter to do its thing....no such luck, the tire wouldn't hold air. I have been trying to track down a set of 255/85/r16 tires to get me from my worn out 31's to some tall 33's.....no such luck, delivery time was second only to price in terms of the outrageous factor....and I couldn't really find anything in this size that wasn't MT (Mud terrain) and my truck will see more street then mud.

I finally decided I was gonna get an A/T tire, and I wanted my 33's......I did all the comparison shopping online at tirerack.....I have never liked firestones (bad luck in the past). So I opted for the goodyear silent armors, the goodyears on there have been bald for the last 2 and a half years since I bought the truck, and they have been great, so it only seemed fair! I gotta say, the ride is great, and very quite (if I shift the truck into neutral). The 250 seems very happy with the 4.11 gears and 33's, it gives me a chance to actually use all 3 gears.....I need a tune up in to truly get everything to work in harmony like I want, but so far, no big problems....except I might need some helper springs to clear under HARD corners, or offroad.

Second pic. is the old 31's, last 3 are pics. with the new 33's.

Watcha think?
