I have a '62 with the stock 3 spd transmission. I also have a T85 OD tranny that I'm going to replace the stocker with.

So, my question is, how many splines on the input shaft of the stock transmission?

BTW, please feel free to make me sleuth this one out if it's WAY too simple a query.

10 splines.

thanks, the T85 (od) has 10 also. Looks like it's time for the swap as my shifter linkage is just crap - out of the blue, I can't get it out of 3rd (not good when I'm stopped on an uphill incline)
