Suburban frame
Are the suburban frames and long bed c10 frames for a 64 gmc the same thing? I need a frame and i know of a junk suburban that is for free. the frame is about the only thing good so this is ok. Anyhow, if they are different, what differences are there?

Re: Suburban frame
I think the suburban frame is a short wheelbase........115" ballpark.

Re: Suburban frame
Not sure on the length, but if it's free, get it. You can sell/keep anything that is salvageable and take the rest to the crusher for extra project $$$.

Re: Suburban frame
The Suburban frame is the shorter one (115"). Kinda funny, because in the 73-91 the Suburban is the long wb.
I think the rest is the same between the burb and truck. By the way, the GMC is leaf sprung, instead of the Chevy's coils.
