alittle help maybe....
so i figured this would be the easiest route to go when it comes to building my frame...but i have no clue what measurements i should put into the diagram this company wants me to. Maybe someone that has built a frame or maybe nathan from porterbuilt can chime in, here is the diagram

Re: alittle help maybe....
obviously there needs to be more info.....i want to run 22's all around and i want to lay frame. i believe it'll be a 29" tire in front and rear, and i'm saving my pennies for a dropmember so i dont know what the kick-up in the front needs to be...i know i probably sound retarded but i just don't know where to begin

Re: alittle help maybe....
my chassis has a front kick of 7 7/8", and ther rear is 16.5" and could lay out on a 30" tire with the axle hitting the frame. so a 29" tire would have a 1/2" clearance...
let me know if i can help at all, nate is the one to go to for the dropmember, you wont be disappointed... Justin

Re: alittle help maybe....
ok i definitely will when it gets alittle closer to when im ready to get everything, the reason i want to start off with these mandrel bent rails is so the frame will be very smooth and strong....thanks nathan and fnlow

Re: alittle help maybe....
yea that frame is definitely very nice, but way outta my price league right now...i can get two 2x4 mandrel bent rails for $800 and the dropmember for around 1500 and i already have 12ft of 2x4 for the rest of the frame..so for under 3000 i will have a kickass frame that will lay low and function well. Jim meyer's stuff is definitely top notch though!
