this is just a round about way to fiberglass... the true instrutions are WAY more detailed ill look for the ones ive used

you build a wooden frame for the box... you get some resin... some fiberglas sheet or shredded... lay a layer of cloth over the box, lay a coat of resin over the fabric and form lightly to the contours you wish, lay one layer of fiberglass over that and let harden, and keep adding layers till you get desired stiffness, you can further detail and then paint or you could just glue and carpet....

Re: about fiberglass

you can just sand it in stages... 100, 200, 600, and soo on the higher the number the smoother you are, no need to bondo finberglass, USE A RESPORATOR/ fabric mask, SAFETY GOGGLES AND GLOVES!!! the chemicals are pretty harsh

Re: about fiberglass

a brush to apply the resin lol and lay the fiberglass down in there

your probably gonna have a 4" by 4" deep hole for the cup... so you should have plenty of room

Re: about fiberglass

i would suggest securing it to the floor via bolts not the dash, leave sub out drill holes bolt down install sub... nobody will steal it that way l heheh well not without a struggle

and those corners.. wont budge but why leave it open if your goin to have the sub... you want to seal it so it will hit harder... if you leave it open it will use the cab as the box and sub performance will be minimal
