Pulling 250 L6-Where to lift from?

We're getting ready to pull my engine(250L6) to start working on it. I've seen those brackets that are held on by the head bolts, but are there any other good options for lifting it out?

Re: Pulling 250 L6-Where to lift from?

I just bolted chains directly to either side of the head and left them a little loose so the chain didnt' dig in.

Here are the photos I took of the removal if it will help: http://satellitehead.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=3

Additionally, the first thing I actually did to my truck was swapping out the inline for one I picked up cheap off Craigslist, and photos of both removal of the original inline, and subsequent addition of the new inline are here: http://satellitehead.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=6

I've never had a problem using head bolts to pull and install.
