headlight troubles

k so last night i had 2 move the truck out of the garage last night and wen i turned on the headlights, only the passenger light came on. wen i turn on the high beams they both work properly. im guessing its just a loos connection but i didn't really look yet. if it is a loose connection would it be at the switch or the light socket. thanks

Re: headlight troubles

Well, it certainly could be a loose connection but aren't those dual element sealed beam lights? What if the low beam element is just burned out? Check for power at the low beam terminal.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing, the low beam could just be burned out.

LOL
Had same thing happen to me yesterday...checking things over getting ready for spring (if the snow will ever leave...not) and turned the lights on and no head lights...Hummmm
Flipped the high beams on and all 4 worked...back to low and left side is now on but no right.
Wiggled the connections on/off at the lights and all is good now...just a bad connection there.
So suspect you have the same deal going on

Re: headlight troubles

Sometimes the element is wigglin around inside and when you bump it, it will start working...bump it again and it might stop working again.
