Question chopped & sectioned 47-54

Anyone have any links to pics or anything of some 47-54's that are both chopped and sectioned and know how much they were chop & sectioned.

Just picked up a new project and wife wants to chopped and sectioned but wanna see some to determine how much i wanna go with it, dont like em hacked up insanely to where it throws em out of proportion.

I was thinkin 2"- 2 1/2" on the roof and 3" - 4" on the section ...but not sure yet

Generally speaking AD trks do not look good sectioned. I would just do a 3 to 3 1/2" chop. Extending the cab greatly inproves the looks & interior room.

Re: chopped & sectioned 47-54

I'm in the process of a section, chop and cab extend on my newly acquired '51.
There are some other pretty wild plans for this - but no details until it's ready for sharing. It's currently looking like a 7 inch section, 4 inch chop and 5 inch cab extension. I'm also sectioning the fenders a couple inches.
I'll post as I make progress. Work will start in about a month as I'm finally building my shop! Once I have the room I need to work, the FidddyOne is in for MAJOR surgery. Here's the photochop proof of concept of the section but before the chop and cab extend. I'm almost tempted to stop at this point. I like it!
Wish me luck.
