Thumbs up Start Me Up!!!!!

I don't mean the "LawnBoy" either. After winter storage one tends to forget the sound [in some peoples books the noise,] smell and feel of a real set of older wheels. This exerience is far removed in a newer vehicle. I'm going out tomorrow and buying a pine air freshener. Well I just thought I'd share this experience with you all.

Take care & .....
Happy start ups,

esll.

Re: Start Me Up!!!!!

Hey I know what you mean. I parked mine about Thanksgiving and I miss the rumble of it. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will get it painted and done and ready to roll.

Hope yours goes better than mine. Started the old girl up and after it warmed up I turn on the heater fan and 10 lbs of mouse nest blew out at me.
Still can't get the stink out of the cab.

Re: Start Me Up!!!!!

Iīm starting to get nervous. In 2 weeks I will be getting mine inspected and hopefully registered.
My appointment is on the 1st of April. Yes, I will be waiting for an April Fools joke from the inspector.

Canīt wait to get her back on the road.

Maybe that is the reason the owner before me had 15 little tree air fresheners under the dash. I took them out a year ago and you can still smell the trees.

Re: Start Me Up!!!!!

EAST SIDE LOW LIFE....you have one very nice lloking truck!! I'm getting jealous and envious. of all of you. The ole Green Machine is to be completed from its transformation later this spring. I've had the ole truck since 2001 and this will be the first time I will be able to safely take her out for a . Yes! Until then I will have to rely on all these threads and keep dreaming.
