Go buy a yourself a harmonic balancer puller. This tool makes the job soooo easy. On top of that it wont damage the balancer in any way that a regular pully puller could. While your at it buy a harmonic balancer installation tool too. This tool will get it back on the right way, without damaging thrust bearings. That stuffs important. Maybe you could rent this stuff from the local parts store and save some money... Just gotta ask.
Hey good luck with that thing, I hope it goes back in shinin. Why don't you paint your engine with the balancer installed? Most people do..

I want to change the gaskets and paint it without the balancer and remove the oil pan too!!
