Spinner bar question?
I would like to get the ansen sprints, but I would like the spinner bar for a cap (similar to what is available for TTII's) However since it has a pop in style cap and not a bolt on cap like the TTII's the ones American Racing has won't work.
Could I drill a hole in the center cap and use a bolt through it and screw on a tribar spinner of some sort? I thought I saw someone do something using this idea and truck ralleys? Where could I find a screw on type center spinner? Thanks in advance guys!! Shawn

Re: Spinner bar question?
I bought a whole generic spinner setup from my local tire shop for $40.00. They are the type that go on first, before you put on your wheel. The wheel holds the cap on. Then you screw the spinner to the cap.

Like this!! The caps come in different sizes, depending on the wheel center hole.

Re: Spinner bar question?
I have a set of spinners I bought to go with my American Outlaw 2 wheels. The metal cap is like the ones Myself posted. My spinners are the straight 3 bar instead of the swept 3 bar he has. They attach with a center bolt and have a set screw in the side of the spinner to snug it to prevent spin off. Most custom wheel dealers can get you the spinners although not all want to fool with them. All he has to do is call his wheel supplier and they will know what will fit the wheels. I told my dealer I would buy the wheels ONLY if he could get the spinners to go with them. He did.

Re: Spinner bar question?
if you have the patiance you can use a welder to make "tits" for snap in center caps, but if you like me you would do it to all 4 corners before you relize mini moons wont fit on the front because of the dust cover on the axle.. this was a 5 hour mistake and now I have the 4x4's back on my 2WD but I took the sticker off and pollished them I was more than a little bit mad and left my truck up on the jackstands over night as punnisment for not telling me

Re: Spinner bar question?
You could also drill and tap the wheels and mount them on the outside . I used to have slots with the centers bolted on like Torque Thrusts ! Just a thought.
