71/72 disc work on 70?

Hi all I have a couple of questions.

1. I am buying a 70 SWB 350 3 on the tree, will the disc brakes off of a 71/72 work on the 70 and what would have to be done and what all would I need off of it to make it work?

The reason I am asking is I found a 71/72 LWB w/ camper top fpr $500 and I want to see if I can rob the disc and they be an easy change. The upper part of the cab is shot and I have to look at it more to see what all I can grab.

I have to talk to the guy and see what motor/tranny is in it yet, but the biggest thing I would be looking at is the front disc and the 5 lug for the rear and I just dont know what all is involved in the swap.
Any and all help is much appreciated
Steve

Wink

Steve change the ball joints and outer tierod ends for the 71/72 spindels and swap some brake lines and I think the poportion valve/master cly. and that should get it,or just swap the whole carrier under the engine, thats what I've done in the past but the engine was out on both trucks. Your truck is a 70 so just swap out the axles with the 5lug ones. Hope this helps!Oyeah where did you get your 70 SWB at.lol
