Re: traction bars

If they work at all (I`m sure they do) then they`ll stop wheel hop and the wheels will hook-up better.

Re: traction bars

Have you ever thought about converting your leafs to trailing arms? It would be a bolt in. It would also improve handling/ride and eliminate the the need for traction bars.
Just a thought, Tom

Re: traction bars

If your gonna go threw all that work to change over to trailing arms you could build yourself a set of lader bars. Or be like me and leave the leafs in a build a set of ladder bars and have both.

Effectively.... OE trailing arms are ladder bars that can be bolted in (albeit w/a bunch of work) so they're a good alternative for those w/o fabricating capabilities or equipment. Leaves & ladder-bars? How do you manage this w/o suspension bind when driving around?

Calverts traction-bars (aka Cal-Tracs) are in many <10.00 1320 cars so they do work. Will they work for you? That depends on what the current set-up is, what tuning has been done, & what gains you're expecting.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
