Speaker Delete?

Are these square holes in the dash cut out for speakers? Does anyone make a delete cover for this?

Thanks,
Harry

Re: Speaker Delete?

No, those are for your defrost. The one in the middle is for your mono speaker.

Re: Speaker Delete?

Makes sense, thanks. How about a delete plate. Anyone making these with correct metal thickness?

Thanks
Harry

Re: Speaker Delete?

I would think with the humidity you'd need it in the cooler season for evening cruise ins or what ever.
The blazers came without the speaker holes, but they still had the defrost.

Re: Speaker Delete?

LMC Makes this original part, you have to paint it to match. Here is the link.

Re: Speaker Delete?

Andy and CG your right, defrosters for the the humidity and such definetly
would be needed BUT the PO stripped everything out. So I've got 2 big holes I am trying to fill.

hawaiianblue: good choice. I am gonna order the stock parts just to fill the holes if I can't get the deletes.

CG: I'll be sure to check with our site vendors. I checked with Infanti about the deletes, no word yet.

Thanks
Harry

Re: Speaker Delete?

You can get them painted to match the color of the dash but I've also seen them sold in chrome, and you would definitely want to keep the defroster vents. I live in Georgia and when it's cold during the winter and it rains you definitely need them, unless you want to constantly be wiping at your windshield.

Re: Speaker Delete?

I would stay away from chrome ones myself. The glare on the glass on a sunny day is terrible. That's why the dash tops are painted in flat paint as original, to reduce glare. Personally, I think a dark color... and since your truck is black... I'd just do it all in flat or semi flat black... vents and all.
