BBC Water Temp sending unit locations
So, I have a 71 BBC in my rig. I have the TBI water temp sending unit in the intake manifold (Edelbrock).
Where's a good place to stick the Autometer sending unit? |

Can't you splice the wires together, or are they completely different?

Left hand side head is where it is located on my 454.

My 71 BB is in the side of the head like 68 50th. Actually there are two. One on each side of the engine on the side of the heads. One is for the temp guage. The other is for the TCS system that doesn't work anymore.
