Is there an easy way to tell if you have a bent control arm novice suspension person here.

Yes,look for any cracking in the paint surface of the control arm, also the stress of a bend will crate heat and you will see like a red rusted area somtimes if it is really obvious. Also take a quick measurement with your fingers the distance between the back of the front tires and leading edge of the front fender. That will usually indicate bent suspension parts.

When I opened the pic of your truck I went WOW!!, cause I want to do exactly the drop on my custom deluxe (mine is pink & white and is pictured on page 1 of this thread) that you have done to yours, and the bonus is that you also have a custom deluxe with the same paint scheme as mine. Where did you get the 1/2 drop front coil? Ive never seen a 1/2 inch drop coil advertised for sale by anyone.

Thanks for the comments.

I appreciate the comments, coming from you guys, it means alot. I had to show my wife your comments, to show her that there is someone else who enjoys these trucks as much as I do.

The rims are Cragar SS 15 X8 on the front and 15 X 10 on the rear.

I meant to say the spring has 1/2 a coil cut out of it, it makes about 1.25 inches lower.

I would post more photos, but I have taken all of my photos in High resolution, and I have to find an easy way to shrink the file sizes.

Any tips?
