Fuel lines
I need some help please. I just got a 72 w/350 AT ...... pretty much the best thing to ever happen to me
 . Got a new tank w/EEC connections to replace the old one that was leaky. Got to lookin' under the truck and noticed that the previous owner plugged all of the lines except for the main line to the pump.  First of all, does it matter. Second of all, does anyone have or know where a diagram is for the correct routing. I just need to know which metal lines connect to which. Thanks

 to our club! If the truck runs fine, i don't think it rle matters, but i may be wrong. Around here, asking questions are good things, don't be afraid to ask

I found the same thing under my 72. Mine had a aux fuel tank that was removed. So they capped everything extra and routed the main line to the behind the seat tank. That is probably what your finding. I am not sure that 72's had eec.

One line is a return for unused fuel back to the tank, the other is (im assuming) a vent. The return line isnt neccesary- I plugged mine a loong time ago with no problems. The vent will make your tank fill faster.
