Re: what size are n2trux wheels?

Ill have to break out the square and pull off the rear tire. 10"s wide with 6"s of back spacing means the rim should only come out 4 inches at the mount correct?

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?

Wrong. If you measure a 10" rim from the outside edge to outside egde,... the rim will actually measure 11". Most people forget that the actual 10" is measured from "tire bead surface to tire bead surface". So from the rim out,... it would measure 5". I know this is confusing. The best choice it to take a bare rim, (like a 15x8 ralley) and measure off of it. A 15x8 rally has a 4" BS. So if you want you rear wheel to be 10" wide,... add the extra 2" where it will fit best. This could be 1" on the outside and 1" on the inside. Just put the rim where you want it. On most billet wheels "THE CUSTOMER" has to choose the wheel backspacing.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?

So with the tire sidewall I should go on the safe side and measure 5.5 from the mount. I really don't wanna toss a bed side. Ill have to measure a few times and measure the shallowest part of the bed side. Thanks for the help guys.

Keith will tell you I'm the numbers guy when it comes to this stuff & based on my BS for the 74 I know the 9.5's w/6.00 does not seem correct. If it does have 6.00 BS the wheels would be tucked farther up in the well; instead both our trucks look very similar from the side view.
Scoti, you are the dude when it comes to remembering tire/wheel sizes and backspace. My comments weren't targeted at you, or anyone in particular. Just trying to clarify why I posted the specs as I did.

I understand. I was just keeping everyone on the same page as to why I was piping up about the back-spacing on your wheels.

I'm sure some who don't know us are asking themselves "who is this guy that thinks he knows what another guys truck has/doesn't have.....".

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
