I've been away from the board and going through withdrawals since March 3rd. It's a loooooong story...title says it in a nutshell.

Hopefully, I'll be able to type this stuff and read it at home after this weekend.....sniff, sniff....miss you guys (and gals). Gettin' my daily fix of this stuff is important, if any of you have any doubts.

Hopefully, I can get some pix up and loaded of the slooooooow progress on my truck. Seems that the boys momma nicknamed him "Turtle".....didn't know that before I took my truck to him....at least (morally) the hare lost the race. He has high hopes and aspirations for the work he is doing....so do I!!

sorry to hear about your woes. I have at&t dsl too but I am really close to a main phone substation or what ever they are called and have a great connection. Hope you find a solution.

That's why I have cable

Too many times my neighbors dsl goes out, takes at least a week or two to roll a truck..

Hey Don. I was about to send an email your way but I guess you wouldn't have gotten it anyway...
I laugh at AT&T's commercials. All that blab about how they can be your complete source for phone, internet,etc. What they don't tell you is that most homes in your town aren't close enough to a station to be able to use their service. I put up with a wireless service for bout a yr & a half. I finally gave up and went back to cable. It's fasst and always ON with the rare occasion a storm interupts service.

I agree I had cable and it sucked now the att crap dsl I have alot more problems with it at the bait shop than at home but problems none the less. The thing that gets me the most is you call and complain and nothing gets better, but the bill stays the same. I am so tired of paying for services that I'm not recieving properly

On one of the numerous times my wife called about our lack of service the little twit at the service provider responded "well lost connections is just part of it". My wife "toasted" the twit a bit and promptly changed service. We've not looked back.
