72 arms and spindle fit?

Ok I was going to do the whole crossmember then decided not to so I took the upper\lower control arms and spindles off a 72 and when I took them apart to clean them up the lowers are shot so my question is can I use the uppers and spindle from the 72 on my 65's dropped lowers? Can I run the same balljoint or ream the spindle to fit? I've done a search but I've never really found a direct anwser to my question. Thanks.

Re: 72 arms and spindle fit?

I wouldn't try to ream the spindle. Just use the '72 lower balljoint. You will need to adapt the tie-rods as well...

Re: 72 arms and spindle fit?

Ok I can do that a balljoint is cheaper than a lower arm. I plan on using all the steering stuff from the 72 draglink, tierod ends idler etc. Thanks
