3/4 ton leaf spring

This is probably a stupid question, but i figure this board is the easiest way to get a complete answer. I have a set of 3/4 ton rear springs for an 87 suburban, and i was wondering if they would fit on my 83 K10? Thanks in advance for the help guys

Re: 3/4 ton leaf spring

it seems like 3/4 tons and 1 tons had the same spring length, but the 1/2 tons are shorter? is this true?

Re: 3/4 ton leaf spring

3/4ton, and 1 ton both had the longer leaf springs.....56" I believe...

However the 1/2 ton truck came with either the 56" or the 52" springs depending on how they built the truck when it was new. You'll have to crawl under and measure eye bolt, to eye bolt, and compare them

you can purchase 3/4 ton 7+1 leaf packs new in both the 52", and the 56".

I recently purchased some 52" 7+1 leaf spring for my truck, it raised the back about 3.5", and the 3 leaf front springs raised the front 2.25". However there not cheap....the rears were $240/side, and the fronts were $170/side...these are new factory replacements of course.

Just my 2 cents
