all this talk about metal work
all this talk about metal work made me go out and weld in some patches for the doors today. i took the ol zip wheel and cut out area for the patch and left area to butt weld them in. i tacked the patches in and started moving around so not to warp the metal and put a nice hem over the bottom for streingth. a light coat of filler will end this door work i think not bad for a first timer eh?

Looks good it take some time to get the hang of it but like everything the more you do somthing the better you get at it.
Make sure you get your truck sprayed with crown or some oil spray because you will never get paint on the back of that weld. Super Mario.
