Is it cheating
I'm curious to everyones thought on this.I justed picked up a 65 K20 that I just had to have.Been dealing with the guy that owned it for months.Paid for it today, take delivery tomorrow.Exciting right? My problem...My 72 K10/K20 short flatbed project is in the garage waiting to be finished. The 72 is my true love, but is bring'ing the older girl home going to cause grief.I'd rather be unfaithful to my old lady than my 72.I guess i'm wondering if this is going to be a happy household with 2 women always wanting to be the one to head out the driveway everytime i leave, any thoughts?

Re: Is it cheating
LOL, yeah, at least trucks are gaining value, not losing it like hogs, oh well, at least he still has a job as long as there are people to feed....

Re: Is it cheating
You should have seen what my '67, '70, and '81 Pickups were doing last night. I would tell you, but there might be children present... The '41 was yelling all night telling the others to keep it quiet (Luckily they don't know about the '58 Ford....)

Re: Is it cheating
How do you think my '69 and my '96 relate? I mean, besides their being dislexic? Right now, the red wasps are having a hard time adjusting to their loss of a nesting place, with the '69 at the body shop and the '96 having windows that seal up nicely.....I hate finding a wasp in the cab with me while I am on the road. Makes for wierd movements on the roadway, huh?

Re: Is it cheating
I would think bringing home and 88 would be much more fun, but.......oh.....uh......are we talking about a truck? Oh well then forget that first part .
If the 72 is a "project" and the 65 is more of a drive and tinker with. Then the 72 has a different timeline then the 65. The 72 would get more attention over the long run. My 72 is my driver/tinker with truck. When we move into a bigger garage......I mean buy a new house with a bigger garage. I will be getting a project for it.

Re: Is it cheating
My '71 farm truck doesn't know about me buying the '67 long stepper yet, I am not sure what it will do when I finally bring the '67 home.
When I brought the '71 home my '92 K-3500 did not seem to mind, in fact they are normally parked in the same carport together. I am storing the '67 at my son's for now until I can get a space cleared out in the garage. I told my wife about the '67 a few days ago and she didn't seem to mind I bought another project. Of course I have less trucks than she has sewing machines. It is good to have more than one truck. Danny |

Re: Is it cheating
The 67 didn't mind the tahoe, but the Tahoe is Jealous b/c i have been spending a LOT more time on the 67, and i haven't driven her much, but maybe she will understand.
