Exhaust Crossover Question

My intake gasket is supplied with these metal inserts. I assume these are for restricting the exhaust crossover port in the head. Do you guys leave this port open, closed or restricted?

Re: Exhaust Crossover Question

Leave them out. They are for the heavy duty trucks.

Re: Exhaust Crossover Question

Put them in !!! You need may need some heat up there but not that much, some block them off altogether for cooler intake, I think the restrictor is a happy medium betweeen blocked off and wide open. What intake are you running ? JMHO.
