Decided not to go short step.

I hardly ever see short stepside trucks but I saw two today at the the approximate ride height that my truck would have been at after the conversion and to tell you the truth...I didnt like them. Maybe they were too short or just not "truck" enough for my tastes but I think I'll stay with the long fleet.

anyway if anyone wants a short 67 step bed Ive got it for sale on the for sale board.

Boy that was quick. It sold. My wife is going to be a happy camper. Not because I sold the bed but because i wont be in the garage doing the conversion all summer. I'll be in the garage doing other stuff but she doesnt know that yet.

Yeah my first few trucks were longboxs, and I like them. I always thought shortboxs looked stubby, but after buying one and fixing it up, I got used to it and now I like shortboxs better ! funny how things change over time isn't it?

The only thing I like about my short step is it is more agile than a lwb. I was looking for a longbox when I bought my truck......I can't haul much in my shorty, and I like the look and the ride of the longbed. There will be a lwb in my future.

To tell you the truth I'm kind or relieved. I like the looks of my truck even more now.

The bed may go back up for sale in the next few days if the guy who contacted me a few days ago doesnt follow up with me. Havent heard from him since.
