For the leaf spring guys
What flip kit are you guys using? I don't have the time or patience to make my own like Kevin from LFD did. I was looking at CPP's kit for 55-59's that is used for putting a newer axle in. It looks like it would work, and it's only about 80 bucks.

Re: For the leaf spring guys
I used a 73-87 on mine. They are easy to make work on 67-72's...

Re: For the leaf spring guys
What brand did you use? Did the hole in the center of the perch line up, or was there measuring involved? Finally, what did you set your pinion angle at, and did you raise your carrier bearing?

Re: For the leaf spring guys
I cant remember what brand it was, I bought it from a board member a long time ago. All I had to do was trim the corners so it would fit up in the old perch. There was a centered hole & an offset hole. I used the offset hole, it corrects the pinion angle & moves the rear end back @ a 1/2" to pull the drive shaft back from the trans. Didnt touch the hanger bearing. Pretty straight forward deal...

Re: For the leaf spring guys
Alright, after looking around some, I've decided on DJM's, PN FK1012-5. It's designed for 2.25 in. springs and looks pretty straight forward. Do any board vendors carry DJM?
