Help with wheel backspacing

I have a 71 with a 4 and 1/2 front and 6 rear drop. I am wanting to put a set of 18's on it. I need the correct wheel width and back spacing for my truck. I was thinking about a 8 and 1/2 up front and a 9 and 1/2 to a 10 in the rear. Please help before I spend the $$$$$. Thanks ahead time.

Re: Help with wheel backspacing

You can do a search and look at what other people have used, but your best bet is to get under there and measure YOUR truck. See how much room you have and go from there. Just my .02
