need new seats......

so after spending a good chunk of change on racing seats, I am wanting to go with something else, there not the most comfortable seats to drive with, so what have you guys used? pics and what they came out of would be awesome. I am leaning towards lower buckets, but am open to all, If they came in grey cloth from the factory that would even be better, since i will be picking up a mint 3rd row seat from an 88 burb

Re: need new seats......

Personally, I like the stock seats best. I've seen some later model chevy leather tahoe/suburban seats with the headrests removed that look good too.

Re: need new seats......

I just picked up my new seats today. These are made by PRP Not the cheapest, but they are nice, comfortable suspension seats.

I always thought the mid year seats looked/fit pretty nice.

Re: need new seats......

These are the side x side model with the two tone "carbon fiber" vinyl. I just liked 'em the best. They have a flat bottom for my fabricated slider that I will be making. The rear is 42" bench with four 1/4" thick mounting tabs.

Re: need new seats......

I've got a set of '03 and up tahoe seats and a third row seat from an '04 burb. I haven't tried to fab my mounting brackets yet, but they are a great fit, really comfortable, and all chevy baby. Later Mario

Re: need new seats......

I've always preferred the stock seats or some other "lowback" bucket. Never been a big fan of the look of a "highback" bucket in a Blazer.

Sweet looking rig BTW! I know its not PC to like how a big lifted topless Blazer looks w/o a roll bar or cage and obviously theres no debate on the whole safety issue but what can I say, it looks great.

Re: need new seats......

I used a gray cloth 60/40 split bench from a 98 Silverado extended cab. The seat is really comfortable, I picked up an extra seat for when I need it, and since the 98 extended cab didn't come with a third door, both seats tilt and slide forward with the seat back release.
