Which bags to use (not the same old question)

Ok, almost finished cleaning up the frame and getting ready to order the bags for my step-son's 68 C10 (now swb). Looking around the net and through the forums I am curious:

Suicide Doors have their bags (Firestone 2500 and 2600) both for $69.99.
Slam Specialities have the RE 6 and RE 7 bags (I think they are close to the Firestone 2500 and 2600) for $89.00. Street Ride Pro have their bags (BAGA-25A and BAGA-26A) for $49.00. Any guidance on what the true best deal is and is there any supporting vendors on here selling bags? From what I understand, I will need the 2500 on the front and the 2600 on the rear. I will probably order the a-arm plates from Suicide Doors as I have read several threads using them. On a different direction, I have a set of Firestone sleeve air springs with the following specs: 6 1/2" usable stroke, 750 lbs at 100 psi, 10 1/2 extended, 4" compressed, single 5/8 threaded on bottom, 3/4 threaded stud on top (fitting goes through top of stud). I haven't read anything about the sleeve type bags, are they useable, not really planning on hauling much in the truck.

Just my opinion.
To me, there's no choice but Slam Specialties.

I've used others, and those rank as superior to me.

I have no relationship with them, just think they're the best.

2600 or re7's on the front an re6's out back. Sleeve bags work out back too. I'd go with the slams.

Firestone user here with absolutely no complaints. 2,600's in the front and 2,400 in the rear on a SWB stepside.

If got the slams too, 7 in front, 8's in back. If you go with an over the axle setup, you might want to consider sleeve's.

slams from me too, i had a set of fire stones for a bout 10 minutes and i hated that they had studs instead of threaded holes for mounting so i ditched them, not sayiing they dont work just saying i like slams way better

can i get a vote on who's using re6's as oppossed to re7's in the rear? Any pros/cons running the 6's in the rear.... Not to hijack the thread

No hijacking at all, that's a very good question, do I need to run different bags on the front and back?

Depends on what kind of rear suspension setup your using and where the rear airbags will be placed.

I've used both. I like the Slams a little better because they're a little stiffer. My 88 had 'Stones and the ride was a little "soft" for my taste.

Probably should have mentioned, the rear bags are going in where the coils where on the trailing arms. Not trying to drag the frame on this one, just low
