Talking Got another one - color???

I found this K5 and it had a virtually rust free body (tough to find in VA), brand new tires, new top...The guy kept lowering his price so I couldn't resist. Now I have two, my 71 jimmy and this. I think I may keep this one cuz it's so nice. I already am putting a new engine in it and the 3/4 ton brake conversion. I will post some more pics too of the progress. I will probobly swap over my cage from the jimmy to this one. I will probobly eventually sell the Jimmy and keep this K5.

I posted it in photshop but I think the pic may be too dark to work with.

Trying to decide what color to paint it.

Any paint color suggestions???
*Gloss Black, Burnt orange/copper, nassau blue. I like the blue from this blue lmc truck and am leaning toward that. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.asp?page=55 Anyone know the paint code? Also should I buy chrome bumpers or paint these black or the same color I paint the rest of the truck. Just looking for ideas.

Re: Got another one - color???

My K5 was originally blue and from what I can see under the peeling other paint jobs, it's a good looking color. So, I vote blue!

Looks like a sweet K5!!!!

Re: Got another one - color???

I called lmc at their kc phone # and I got someone helpful. She said the pics are photoshoped and not "real" paint colors. But I found this link and I like the intense blue pearl color. Looks about the same shade of blue.

What do you think about bumpers? Black, chrome blue. Painting would be free chrome I would have to buy new ones$$$

I hear you on the mirrors...I bought the small sport mirrors but boy they are tiny I am concerned I won't be able to back the thing up with out mowing down stuff?

I like the black. Definitely chrome bumpers. I'd get rechromed original equipment if you can afford it. I went with aftermarket and it looks pretty good, but the fit isn't the best.

I've been liking the bronze lately, don't see too many either so it would be a nice change. Just my .02

Re: Got another one - color???

This is the other color I was thinking about Dupont base coat/clear coat “Sun Burnt Orange Metallic with Pearl”.

I saw this blazer posted on craigslist. It is a scam listing but I still like the color.

Thats a sweet color!!! I'm stuck in between that color, hugger orange and red/orange. I'm paint my hard top black and rubber coating most of the interior black. Any of those colors should make a blazer stand out, more than they already do, lol.
